Do you have a dress code?
Appropriate dress for an afternoon or evening at The Fireside would
range from dressy to business casual.
Where can I find a show’s performance schedule?
To view any show’s description, menu, performance schedule and ticket
prices just go to the home page and click on the icon for the show.
What kind of theatre is The Fireside?
The Fireside Theatre is a theatre-in-the-round with a square stage
surrounded by five rows of main floor seating on two sides, nine rows of
main floor seating on two sides and two rows of balcony seating on all four
sides. The entire facility is
accessible to guests with disabilities.
Please let us know of any special needs you have when placing
reservations.
Is smoking permitted at The Fireside?
The Fireside is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2003 we are an entirely smoke free facility. This change was made for the benefit of our guests and our staff and has been very well received. Accommodations are made for smoking just outside the main entrance.
Do you have a children's discounts or children's menus?
Throughout the year we have a children's menu on Friday and Saturday
evenings as part of the off-menu dining option. The second show on Sundays
has a " 4 for 3 special" with four dinner theatre packages for the price of
three. The menu is the same but the pricing makes it a nice option for
families. Another option families like is the Sunday Brunch because there
are several items children enjoy, however there is no price discount for
that performance. The Fireside only offers a Children's Special with
special menu and discounted pricing for the first Saturdays matinees and midday shows of A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS.
Is it possible to have dinner without seeing a show?
Dining only reservations can be made for Friday and Saturday evenings.
We have a 12 item restaurant menu plus an excellent Fish Fry on Friday
nights. Dining times may be restricted if the theatre is full and the
box office would know what times were available. We also take dining
only reservations for our Thursday evening buffet and Sunday brunch when
space is available. The toll free number for the box office is

Is it possible to see the show without dining?
Dining is required for all performances.
Children's Auditions
Auditions for children's roles for A FIRESIDE CHRISTMAS, or any other show
that would require children, would be held in Fort Atkinson and advertised
locally. We run those audition ads in Fort Atkinson, Janesville, Watertown,
Lake Mills and Cambridge.
What is your severe weather policy?
As with all professional arts, theatre and sporting events our tickets
are not exchangeable or refundable. We have been known to make exchanges for
weather emergencies in the past if the storm is so severe as to cause the
officials to close the interstate highways. We would not make exchanges on a
prediction or after-the-fact so see what it's like the day of your
performance. For Weather Related Cancellations you must contact
our Box Office at 800-477-9505. All decisions are made the day of the
show, for Matinee Cancellations please call anytime after 8:00a.m. and for
Evening Cancellations please call after 1:00p.m.
Any cancellations sent by email will not be considered valid.
Do you have auditions?
Auditions for The Fireside are held in New York several months prior to
each show and are advertised in New York's Backstage Newspaper. If you
are unable to attend the New York auditions and have professional
credentials, you may send a picture and resume to:
