The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.


Chandler Reeves (Ariel) is excited to be making her Fireside debut (and getting to spend the summer as a mermaid… YAY!). Mark LaDuke (Prince Eric) is excited to join his first show at The Fireside! He’s from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2013. He was a top 50 contestant on AMERICAN IDOL (2013), toured internationally with LEGALLY BLONDE: The Musical, and will be joining the cast of ROCK OF AGES for their upcoming National Tour. Terrance Martin (Sebastian) is grateful to be back at The Fireside where he was last seen in MAMMA MIA (Eddie), Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and other amazing productions. Laura Cable (Ursula) is delighted to be under the sea after five years ON the sea with some other delightfully evil villains with Disney Cruise Line. National Tours: CATS and DAMN YANKEES. Favorite Regional: THE 39 STEPS, MARY POPPINS, VICTOR/VICTORIA, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Thank you, Ed, for the chance to play this dream role with a dream team! Love to Mark and the Cables. Michael Haws (Grimsby) Michael’s recent favorite roles here: Pulitzer in NEWSIES; Maurice in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; Monsignor O’Hara in SISTER ACT; Clarence in A WONDERFUL LIFE; Jim in ALL SHOOK UP; Doc in WEST SIDE STORY; Thenardier in LES MISERABLES; The Wizard in THE WIZARD OF OZ. Amanda Sylvia (Flounder) is thrilled to be back after making her debut here in 42ND STREET! Amanda holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. Brendan Malafronte (Scuttle, Chef Louis) is all aflutter to be back at The Fireside! Most recently seen as Bert Barry in 42ND STREET. Roy Richardson (King Triton) is excited to be back at The Fireside! He graduated from NYU Steinhardt with his Master of Music. Roy was previously seen here at The Fireside in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (Chief Sitting Bull). She is a Columbus, Ohio native and received her BFA in dance from the University of Arizona. Sarah Juliet Shaw (Mersister, Princess) is thrilled to be making her Fireside debut in THE LITTLE MERMAID! Annie Jo Ermel (Ensemble) is ecstatic to be back at The Fireside. Favorite Regional credits: 42ND STREET (Phyllis) at The Fireside; 42ND STREET (Phyllis), ROCK OF AGES (Constance) and WHITE CHRISTMAS at Drury Lane Theatre; HAIRSPRAY (Tammy) at the Paramount Theatre; SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN and ANYTHING GOES (Purity) at The Marriott Theatre. AJ is a Chicagoland dance educator and choreographer, with a BFA in Dance from UWM – Proud Cheesehead! Next up, HOLIDAY INN Inn at The Marriott! Doug Reed (Ensemble) is a proud Fireside veteran of 30 years and 130 shows. Some favorite roles include Gideon in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, Andy Lee in 42ND STREET, Cosmo in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, Tommy Djilas in THE MUSIC MAN, Paul in KISS ME KATE, Zebulan in all three productions of JOSEPH, and Wes Warnicker in FOOTLOOSE. Doug is also active as a choreographer and director for high schools, universities, and community theatres in Southern WI and is a proud six time Tommy Award winner!


Patrick Roache (Ensemble) is a proud Detroit native and a recent BFA Acting graduate from Wayne State University. University credits include LEGALLY BLONDE, OKLAHOMA!, and 35MM: A Musical Exhibition. While attending Wayne, Patrick also studied under Russian theatre experts in Leibnitz, Austria, and at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Moscow, Russia. THE LITTLE MERMAID marks his Regional and professional debut and he couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining the Fireside family!


Oz Shoshan (Ensemble) is thrilled to make his debut with The Fireside Dinner Theatre. Recent credits include: Batsheva Dance Company (Israel), Indio in WEST SIDE STORY, Tribe member in HAIR, Ensemble in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and Moritz in CABARET with the Cameri Theatre, Israel. Darnell Williams (Ensemble) began his dance journey as a competitive dancer in Maryland and holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Towson University. He has danced with contemporary dance companies including ELSCO Dance and XY Dance Project. Williams’ professional credits include Broadway’s After Midnight on Norwegian Cruise Lines, the Off-Broadway Choreopoem Made to Dance in Burning Buildings and TAPTASTIC Cabaret.
