Saturday Night Fever

Capturing the historic flavor of disco-mania in New York City, this energetic musical is based on Nik Cohn’s 1975 New York Magazine article “Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night” and Norman Wexler’s 1977 film. Told through the eyes of a talented, streetwise kid from Brooklyn who attempts to escape his dead-end life through dancing, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER explores relationships on and off the dance floor with humor, conflict, style and unforgettable swagger. Powered by the chart-breaking hits of the Bee Gees, the pulsating score includes “Stayin’ Alive,” “If I Can’t Have You,” “How Deep is Your Love,” “Boogie Shoes,” and “Disco Inferno.”

Guys and Dolls

February 27 – April 12, 2020
One of Broadway’s hottest shows is back as a brand new production of this immortal Broadway fable. This blockbuster won seven Tony Awards including Best Musical in 1951 and four more in 1992 including Best Revival. It’s a colorful and hilarious adaptation of Damon Runyan’s beloved stories about some of the most unforgettable characters ever to walk across a stage such as Liver Lips Louie, Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Nathan Detroit, Miss Adelaide, Society Max, and Big Jule. Its fabulous musical score features such memorable songs as “Luck Be A Lady,” “If I Were A Bell,” “A Bushel And A Peck,” and the show-stopping hit “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat.”

A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement

April 16 – May 31, 2020
In this installment of The Church Basement Ladies series, the year is 1960 and a reformation is underway. Beverly gets her first pair of high heels for confirmation. Mrs. Snustad wins top honors at the County Fair for her Grand Champion pickles. Mavis must find a way to deal with the new Super Highway that cuts through her farm. Karin finds freedom behind the wheel of her husband’s pickup truck. And Pastor has found new love and announces his impending nuptials. Against the changing tide, these “bulwarks never failing” stand strong in their faith and in their friendships with more crazy antics, more great songs, and more lessons reluctantly learned.

Now The Fireside will pay tribute to many of those legendary performers in an all new live band show featuring Steve Watts and the celebrated Fireside Band. Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Judy Garland, Barry Manilow, Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Bette Midler, Cher, Olivia Newton John, Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Reba McIntyre, Brooks and Dunn, and Lady Gaga are just a few of the great stars who have dazzled audiences in Las Vegas showrooms. The Fireside will feature the work of some of these great artists and many others in the most spectacular band show yet. What happens in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas.
