On Sunday, March 15th, Ryan and Kristi Klopcic made the difficult decision to close our production of GUYS AND DOLLS early due to the COVID-19 crisis and recommendations regarding the size of public gatherings. This vibrant, fantastic production of one of Broadway’s best and most fun musicals closed that night. In the theatre world, we call that “going dark” and was a sad but necessary call.
Our managers and key personnel have been busy making adjustments, such as changing your reservations and assisting our staffs to modifying delivery schedules and updating web site information. Most importantly, we are preparing for your return. Our hope is to re-open with the scheduled start of A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR BASEMENT on April 16th, however given the new government restrictions on gathering size this decision is not solely in our hands. In the meantime, we will use this time wisely on projects such as training, cleaning, maintenance, and getting re-charged to bring you the finest dining, shopping, and theatre experience we can!
All of us at The Fireside wish you well during this strange and challenging time complete with ever-changing news and information. We hope you will continue to plan visits to The Fireside during our 2020 Season of Favorites as we’ll all need fun ways to celebrate when this chapter is behind us!
