In addition to Monica Heuser’s Patsy Cline Tribute next weekend, Falling to Pieces, The Fireside has added two more events to the popular new summer series.

On  August 22 – 23, we’re proud to bring back the folks who started our Summer Concert Series in June. Back by popular demand we present Ed Flesch and Laura Cable in an all new concert  featuring an array of music from Broadway to Hollywood to popular and jazz classics – live and on stage. Ed and Laura’s first concert was such a success with our audience that we are bringing them back with songs from such Broadway hits as WICKED, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CAMELOT, ANNIE as well as some of the greatest hits of artists such as Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, and Sammy Davis Jr.

Ed Flesch has been the Artistic Director of The Fireside Theatre since the theatre first opened in 1978 and has produced and directed most of our 209 productions. As an actor he is best known for his acclaimed performances as Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA, King Arthur in CAMELOT, and Emile DeBecque in SOUTH PACIFIC.

Laura Cable is a New York based actor who has appeared at the Fireside as Ursula in THE LITTLE MERMAID and Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY for which she won a Broadwayworld.com Regional Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

Then on August 29 – 30, the series continues with one of The Fireside’s all-time biggest stars – Steve Watts!  Among his regional and international credits, Steve has appeared in nearly 30 shows at The Fireside including 14 of our wildly popular live band revues where he continues to thrill audiences as a singer, keyboard player, and leader of the Fireside Band. He has without a doubt become a fan favorite and one of our most sought-after performers in revues such as THOSE FABULOUS 50’S, SIZZLIN’ 60’S, THE SENSATIONAL 70’S, ROCKIN’ AT THE FIRESIDE and shows such as ALL SHOOK UP, 42ND STREET, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, DAMN YANKEES, and A WONDERFUL LIFE.

Each concert will have three shows only with two shows on Saturday and one on Sunday. Tickets include dining, and limited seating available due to social distancing guidelines. Tickets can be ordered through our Box Office which is open from 11 – 5 Monday through Friday and 10 – 5 on Saturdays. We look forward to welcoming you back to The Fireside with these special events!
