The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.


Mark Campbell (Harold Hill) is excited to be returning to The Fireside for the fourth time in one of his favorite shows. Mark recently toured the country as Scar in THE LION KING. Broadway National Tour credits include MAMMA MIA, GUYS AND DOLLS, and the original Phantom in the 25th Anniversary PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. He played George Washington on the Fox show Sleepy Hollow. Laura Cable (Marian Paroo) is the real-life daughter of a librarian and the leader of a marching band! Marcee Doherty-Elst (Mrs. Paroo) is excited to make her debut with The Fireside alongside this tremendously talented cast, crew, and production team! Marcee is a Milwaukee-based performer whose Regional credits include work with Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theater, Renaissance Theaterworks, and Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (YPF). THE MUSIC MAN was her very first show (years ago) and has a special place in her heart – thank you for spending time with us in River City!

Jason Plourde (Ewart Dunlop) is thrilled to be back on the Fireside stage.
