The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.

Bobby Underwood (Host) is grateful to be returning to The Fireside six years after his critically unacclaimed portrayal of Sam Wainwright in A WONDERFUL LIFE. Sara Zoe Budnik is a vocalist and performer from Southern California, New York City, and now Savannah, GA! Hopping from genre to genre – Sara Zoe has performed in cabaret venues, regional theatres, toured nationally, performed across the seas via world cruise and is now back at the fabulous Fireside Theatre! Patrick Morrow (Drums) is thrilled. In addition to previous Fireside band shows, he has also played the drums for Milwaukee Repertory Theater, First Stage, Skylight Music Theater, Chamber Theater, and toured with the first National Tours of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE: The Musical, and various rock and roll bands around the country. Patrick highly recommends his band, The What For?
Nick Moran (Bass) debuted in the Madison, WI music scene in 1993 while in 10th grade, and has continued to make music professionally ever since. He has performed and recorded with a diverse collection of internationally renowned acts, including Ben Sidran, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Clyde Stubblefield, David “Fathead” Neuman (Ray Charles’ sax player), Peruvian cajón ambassador Juan “Cotito” Medrano (Susana Baca, Novalilma), and hip hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc. Currently, Nick performs with MadiSalsa, dumate, and Phat Phunktion.
Kyle Malesivich (Trombone) Originally from Wisconsin, Kyle currently performs and teaches in the greater Cincinnati area and is Second Trombone of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. He performs and tours with the roots reggae band The Cliftones, who received the 2019 Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Best World Music/Reggae. He holds a Master of Music degree from University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from UW-Milwaukee. Outside of music, Kyle enjoys chess, swimming, and expanding his knowledge of cheeses and brats.
Greg Garcia (Trumpet) maintains a busy freelance schedule playing all types of music. He has performed with Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Noel Gallagher, Il Divo, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Henry Winkler, Sonora Ponceña, Andy Montañez, Charlie Aponte, and many more. Greg is currently a member of the band De La Buena. He has performed for Skylight Music Theatre and Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Greg teaches privately at Hartland Music where he works with students of all ages and abilities.
Joe Gorman (Guitar) is a Milwaukee guitarist who performs in a wide variety of musical settings. “I’ve been doing the band show since 2008, and have always loved it. But this year, after everything we’ve been through, it feels more as though I’m finally returning home after a long journey.”
Curt Hanrahan (Woodwinds) holds a Masters Degree/Multiple Woodwinds from UW-Madison. He retired from UW-Milwaukee in 2017 where he taught jazz and saxophone. Curt has performed with area ensembles and artists, including the Milwaukee Symphony, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and at The Fireside. As co-founder of the Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra, he directs, composes, arranges, performs, and conducts educational workshops. MJO has released two albums, which have received outstanding critical acclaim and are available at email@example.com.
John Hibler (Woodwinds) has enjoyed an exciting and fulfilling career in music and education. He has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and in Broadway Show pit orchestras and back up bands for many of the biggest names in show business. He was a member of the Melody Top Orchestra and the Milwaukee Rep’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL pit orchestra. In 1999 the Brookfield East High School Music Department, under his direction, won a Grammy Award for excellence in music education and in 1997 he was awarded a Distinguished Alumnus Award from UW-Milwaukee.
