Fireside Concert Series

Fireside Concert Series

January – February, 2022
Our 2022 Season will kick off with a series of tribute concerts to liven up the new year. These will be announced at a later date and will not be part of any season ticket package. Similar to the concerts we offered to small audiences in 2020 – 2021, they will feature top national acts celebrating some of the music world’s most popular performers and bands. Stay tuned for more details on these events. We are also planning a stand-alone New Year’s Eve show.

The Sound of Music

March 3 – April 17, 2022
Based on a true story set in Austria in 1938, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s THE SOUND OF MUSIC tells the story of a young postulant nun sent to care for the seven children of a widowed naval officer. Maria reintroduces music and warmth to their home and quickly charms both the children and their father. Favorite songs such as “Do Re Mi” and “Climb Every Mountain” fill this time-honored classic. Entree Choices: Chicken Alfredo, Steamed Salmon, Sliced Beef Tenderloin.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement

April 21 – June 5, 2022
In this installment of The Church Basement Ladies series, the year is 1960 and a reformation is underway. High heels, county fairs, super-highways, driving lessons, and even new love are on the horizon. Against the changing tide, Beverly, Mrs. Snustad, Mavis, Karin, and Pastor Gunderson are “bulwarks never failing” standing strong in their faith and friendships with more crazy antics, great songs, and lessons reluctantly learned. Entree Choices: Boneless Pork Chop, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Lasagna.

What Happens In Vegas

June 9 – July 24, 2022
Just about every great entertainer has dazzled audiences in Las Vegas showrooms over the last 70 years. Now The Fireside pays tribute to many of those legendary performers in an all-new live band show featuring Steve Watts and the celebrated Fireside Band. We’ll feature the work of celebrities from Frank Sinatra to Cher, Garth Brooks to Lady Gaga in the most spectacular band show yet. What happens in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas. It will be right here at The Fireside for all to see and enjoy! Entree Choices: Reuben Chicken, Sliced Pork Tenderloin, Coconut Cod.

The Wizard of Oz

July 28 – September 11, 2022
Over ten generations have grown up loving this classic tale of an enchanted land. Now The Fireside brings you an exciting stage adaptation of this legendary musical. It’s all there – the good witch, wicked witch, cowardly lion, tin man, scarecrow, and the young girl from Kansas in search of home. It’s a show for the entire family filled with eye-popping costumes, rib-tickling humor, breath-taking adventure, and an immortal musical score including the favorite hit song “Over the Rainbow.”  Entree Choices: Pretzel Crusted Stuffed Chicken, Barbecued Ribs, Shrimp Tempura.

Grease

September 15 – October 30, 2022
Join us for a look back at Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: the hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their hip-shaking “Pink Ladies.” Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’” and “It’s Raining on Prom Night” – recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the sound-track of a generation.  Entree Choices: Chicken & Ribs, Sliced Beef Tenderloin, Grilled Salmon.
White Christmas poster

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas

With a series of romantic mix-ups and a dazzling score including the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical especially loved at Christmas. Premier season ticket dates 11/3 – 11/20. Entrees: Grilled Pork Ribeye, Beef Short Rib, Grilled Shrimp.
