Love the smell of Fresh-Baked Bread? The Fireside Bakery is looking for an Assistant Baker who believes in made-from-scratch food and loves to bake for a high volume restaurant!

Under the direction of our Lead Baker, the Assistant Baker will be responsible for:

  • measuring, mixing and preparing ingredients according to Fireside recipes.
  • places dough in pans, molds or sheets to be baked in ovens/proof box.
  • sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, blending machines or steam kettles so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to directions.
  • rolls, cuts and shapes dough to form rolls, tarts, muffins and cookies.
  • observes color of products being baked and turns thermostat or other controls to adjust oven temperature.
  • assists in the creation of our delicious desserts, including applying glazes, icings and other toppings to our baked goods.
  • may specialize in baking one type of product such as breads, rolls, tarts, cakes or candies.
  • completes monthly inventory and pricing at the end of each month.
  • opportunity to develop new recipes for breads, pastries, desserts and other baked goods and desserts.

Candidates must be available to work shifts Wednesday through Sunday Part-Time or Full-Time positions available.

The Fireside Kitchen is seeking candidates for our open Line Cook position!

Duties include:

  • inspects, portions, arranges and garnishes food for guests all while ensuring safe, sanitary food handling practices
  • responsible for regulating temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period
  • ability to learn line cooking stations which includes broiler set-up, plating of the broiler food, middle set-up and plating of the food made in the middle.

Candidates must be available to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule.

The Fireside Restaurant is looking for energetic people with sparkling personalities to join our Guest Service Team!

As a Guest Service Staff Member, you will provide a positive first impression to The Fireside’s excellent service and high standards. Guest Service Staff greet our guests upon arrival, show guests to their table, and assist our servers with guest needs/requests as needed.

Candidates are regularly required to walk throughout the restaurant, go up and down stairs and assist in the carrying/pushing/pulling of items weighing up to 50 pounds.

This position currently has shifts available:

Thursday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 4:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Sunday: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
