Under the direction of our Restaurant Manager, our Assistant Restaurant Managers are responsible for assisting in running the daily operations of the restaurant; providing efficient, expedient, and courteous service to all guests. Other essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists in supervising servers and bus staff; planning and directing work; interviewing, orientating and training new associates, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Establishes rapport with customers ands solves complaints in a diplomatic way plus report them to the Restaurant Managers. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs.
  • Ensures all food dishes served are according to menu, properly presented and of correct temperature.
  • Protects employees and guests by providing a safe and clean environment; including the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, furniture and stations.
  • Upholds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Assistant Restaurant Managers are required to work a full-time schedule with required shifts Wednesday through Sunday.

The Fireside Bakery is seeking a full-time Bakery Production Associate!

As a Bakery Production Associate, you will be assisting our Lead Baker with responsibilities such as:

  • measuring, mixing and preparing ingredients according to Fireside recipes
  • places dough in pans, molds or sheets to be baked in ovens/proof box
  • sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, blending machines or steam kettles so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to directions
  • rolls, cuts and shapes dough to form rolls, tarts, muffins and cookies
  • observes color of products being baked and turns thermostat or other controls to adjust oven temperature
  • assists in the creation of our delicious desserts, including applying glazes, icings and other toppings to our baked goods
