Our Bakery Sales Clerk is responsible for assisting guests make purchases from the bakery counter during restaurant hours of operation. In addition to being the face of the bakery counter, the Bakery Sales Clerk assists with stocking, organizing, and re-stocking of breads, cupcakes, cookies, muffins and other bakery items in our display case.

Under the direction of our Restaurant Manager, our Assistant Restaurant Managers are responsible for assisting in running the daily operations of the restaurant; providing efficient, expedient, and courteous service to all guests. Other essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists in supervising servers and bus staff; planning and directing work; interviewing, orientating and training new associates, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Establishes rapport with customers ands solves complaints in a diplomatic way plus report them to the Restaurant Managers. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs.
  • Ensures all food dishes served are according to menu, properly presented and of correct temperature.
  • Protects employees and guests by providing a safe and clean environment; including the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, furniture and stations.
  • Upholds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Assistant Restaurant Managers are required to work a full-time schedule with required shifts Wednesday through Sunday.

The Fireside Box Office is seeking full-time or part-time candidates who love telephone sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties include:

  • Answering incoming guest phone calls for booking of restaurant and theatre reservations.
  • Entering guest information into our ticket booking system while ensuring accuracy.
  • Welcoming guests to The Fireside as they arrive to receive their reserved tickets.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers by delivering the best customer service.

The ideal candidate would posses excellent communication and customer service skills, understand that success lies in the details, and have strong computer/typing skills.

Shifts available Monday through Sunday between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Hours are flexible and are typically scheduled in 4 hour, 6 hour or 8 hour increments. *Minimum of one weekend shift required.

As a Bakery Production Associate, you will be assisting our Lead Baker with responsibilities such as:

  • measuring, mixing and preparing ingredients according to Fireside recipes
  • places dough in pans, molds or sheets to be baked in ovens/proof box
  • sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, blending machines or steam kettles so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to directions
  • rolls, cuts and shapes dough to form rolls, tarts, muffins and cookies
  • observes color of products being baked and turns thermostat or other controls to adjust oven temperature
  • assists in the creation of our delicious desserts, including applying glazes, icings and other toppings to our baked goods
  • may specialize in baking one type of product such as breads, rolls, tarts, cakes or candies
  • completes monthly inventory and pricing at the end of each month

The Fireside Kitchen is seeking candidates for our open Cook position!

Duties include:

  • inspecting, portioning, arranging and garnishing food for guests all while ensuring safe, sanitary food handling practices
  • responsible for regulating temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period
  • ability to learn line cooking stations which includes broiler set-up, plating of the broiler food, middle set-up and plating of the food made in the middle.

The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen functions. This is a leadership position responsible for the development and operation of the kitchen team to support one of the most critical factors in our success, food quality.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Assumes complete charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Responsible for food safety and sanitation.
  • Monitors/manages waste and food cost related to products.
  • Manages inventory rotation and product storage standards.
  • Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to The Fireside’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Makes sure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following The Fireside’s preventative maintenance programs. Perform basic repairs as needed to the kitchen equipment or know to seek the help of a maintenance technician who can complete the repair.
  • Assists in employment decisions including, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, evaluating and disciplining kitchen staff as appropriate.
  • Develops, trains and cross-trains all team members within the kitchen.

Candidates must be available to work Full Time Hours Wednesday through Sunday.

A Degree, Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred.
