The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.

Luke Rose (Buddy) is feeling Jovial to be returning after tapping in 42ND STREET this past spring. Regional: ELF (Buddy) at Circa ‘21 Dinner Playhouse; THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES (Wrangler) at Pioneer Theatre Company; DAMN YANKEES (Joe Hardy), YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (The Monster) at The Little Theatre On The Square; and Ensemble credits at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Mattie Tucker Joyner (Jovie) Fireside debut! Recently, Mattie completed her first summer as a faculty member at Interlochen Arts Camp, where she served as the assistant director and assistant choreographer for THE MUSIC MAN. Regional: Disney’s WHEN YOU WISH, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma; KISS ME, KATE with Virginia Musical Theatre; THE CHRISTMAS SHOW starring Kelli O’Hara, with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Proud BFA graduate from the University of Oklahoma.

Victor Hernandez (Walter Hobbs) created the role of Henry Barrow in BONNIE & CLYDE The Musical on Broadway. Previously at The Fireside: Harry-MAMMA MIA, George Banks-MARY POPPINS, Rev. Shaw Moore-FOOTLOOSE, and Shellhammer-MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Regional: BONNIE & CLYDE (La Jolla Playhouse & Asolo Repertory), Dan-NEXT TO NORMAL (Seven Angels Theatre), Lt. Brannigan-GUYS AND DOLLS (Bucks County Playhouse). Recently made his directorial debut, BONNIE & CLYDE at the Candlelight Pavilion in Southern California. Happy Holidays, to all!

Jerielle Morwitz (Emily Hobbs) is thrilled to debut at The Fireside! NYC credits include: SPANDEX The Musical (Off-Broadway Premiere), Vital Theatre, The Gallery Players, Impetuous Theatre Group, Theatre for a New City, The Duplex and Don’t Tell Mama’s. Some favorite roles: Betty (GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL), Muriel (DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS), Abby (MUSICAL OF MUSICALS) Vienna (JOHNNY GUITAR), Pennywise (URINETOWN), Dorothy Brock (42ND STREET) and Chaperone (THE DROWSY CHAPERONE).

Melissa Buriak (Deb) is excited to be back at The Fireside for another holiday season! She was last seen on the Fireside stage as Anytime Annie in 42ND STREET and Cheryl Finfer in MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Favorite Regional credits: 42ND STREET (Phyllis), WHITE CHRISTMAS (Rhoda), ANYTHING GOES (Purity), and A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Christmas Future). She is a proud member of Guilty Pleasures Cabaret. Michael Haws (Mr. Greenway) Michael’s recent favorite roles here: Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID; Pulitzer in NEWSIES; Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; Monsignor O’Hara in SISTER ACT; Clarence in A WONDERFUL LIFE; Jim in ALL SHOOK UP; Doc in WEST SIDE STORY; Thenardier in LES MISERABLES; The Wizard in THE WIZARD OF OZ. David Scott Curtis (Santa Claus) is delighted to join the cast of ELF for his debut performance at The Fireside Theatre. Favorite roles include Abner Dillon in the National Tour of 42ND STREET, Mr. Bumble in OLIVER!, Mitch Mahoney in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, and Eddie/Dr. Scott in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. “Thank you Andrea. Brian Elliott (Store Manager) is back for his ninth production at The Fireside! He last appeared as Teddy Roosevelt (NEWSIES) both here and at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in New Jersey. Fireside credits include: Cogsworth (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST), Roscoe Dexter (SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN) Grantaire (LES MISERABLES), and Robertson Ay (MARY POPPINS). Other credits: Max Bialystok (THE PRODUCERS), Younger Brother (RAGTIME), and John Adams (1776). He wishes to thank his parents, Mary, Ed, Kate, and his Chicago family (they know why).

Jennifer Brett (Ensemble) is ecstatic to be making her Fireside debut! She graduated from CAP 21 and Molloy College’s Musical Theatre BFA program in May of 2018. NYC: INTO THE WOODS (Rapunzel), HAIRSPRAY (Amber). Regional: CHICAGO (Annie), THE LITTLE MERMAID (Atina). Mackenzie Curran (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back at The Fireside to ring in the holidays after doing NEWSIES earlier this season. Hope Jamieson (Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to The Fireside for another Christmas season in ELF the Musical! She is a Columbus, Ohio native and received her BFA in dance from the University of Arizona. Recent credits include THE LITTLE MERMAID, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, DANCING QUEEN, and production cast member on the Norwegian Star. Many thanks to Mom and Dad for their constant love and support!

Darren McArthur (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his Fireside debut! Darren attended Point Park University to receive a BFA in Dance where he performed works by Gerald Arpino, Trey McIntyre, Kiesha Lalama, Ron Tassone, and Ohad Naharin. Darren has danced with Versatile Dance Company, FireWALL Dance Theater, Texture Contemporary Ballet and Holland America Line. He has performed the role of Spot Conlon and Tommy Boy in Disney’s NEWSIES at Phoenix Theatre and was recently in Waxler Productions Showcase of ON THE TOWN.

Morgan McGhee (Ensemble) is overjoyed to be making her Fireside debut! She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and received her training in Dance and Theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Some of her favorite credits include DREAMGIRLS (Michelle), CHICAGO (June), HAIRSPRAY (Dynamite), and WHITE CHRISTMAS (Rhoda). Jason Plourde (Ensemble) previously seen as the Bishop (LES MIS) and Pat Denning (42ND STREET), Jason is thrilled to return to The Fireside. A versatile performer, Jason has 20 years experience in Opera, Theater, and Musical Theater. Favorite characters include Boolie (DRIVING MISS DAISY), Frank Sr. (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN), Jekyll and Hyde (JEKYLL AND HYDE), Henry Higgins (MY FAIR LADY), Tom (THE NORMAN CONQUESTS), Tony Wendice (DIAL M FOR MURDER), and Eddie (LOST IN YONKERS). Cesar Razza (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his Fireside Debut with ELF. Doug Reed (Ensemble) is a proud Fireside veteran of 30 years and 132 shows. Some favorite roles include Gideon in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, Andy Lee in 42ND STREET, Cosmo in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, Tommy Djilas in THE MUSIC MAN, Paul in KISS ME KATE, Zebulan in all three productions of JOSEPH, and Wes Warnicker in FOOTLOOSE. Doug is also active as a choreographer and director for high schools, universities, and community theatres in Southern WI and is a proud six time Tommy Award winner!

Sarah Juliet Shaw (Ensemble) is delighted to return to The Fireside after playing Arista in THE LITTLE MERMAID earlier this year. Other credits include SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Arizona Broadway Theatre), KISS ME, KATE (Virginia Musical Theatre), and CAROUSEL (Reagle Music Theatre). She would like to thank Ed for another wonderful opportunity and her family and friends for their endless love and support.

Kaylee Verble (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Fireside debut! Favorite Regional: DAMES AT SEA (Ruby), HAIRSPRAY (Amber), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Babette), PIRATES OF PENZANCE (Sister), and A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE (Mrs. Grace). Kaylee has also enjoyed sharing the magic onboard Disney Cruise Line (Mainstage Performer/Dance Captain) and is a proud graduate of NYU, Steinhardt.
