The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.

Shawn Barker (as Johnny Cash) was born and raised in the metro St. Louis area where like most entertainers, Shawn’s first experience with music was attending church with his family. From singing in church, playing drums in the school marching band or singing in cover bands and coffee houses, music and entertainment has always been in Shawn’s blood. In 2004, Shawn auditioned for the part of Elvis Presley in the Broadway production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. The director Floyd Mutrux, (“Dick Tracy” and “American Hot Wax”) recognized Shawn’s unique talent and requested Shawn to submit an audition for the part of Johnny Cash. Shawn agreed and was instantly cast in the part with Mutrux saying, “We have 100 people who can play Elvis, but we only have one that can play Johnny Cash.” Since then, Shawn has performed his unmatchable tribute to Johnny Cash all over the world touring in Australia, Europe, Canada and across the United States.

Chad Collins (as Tim McGraw) Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Chad realized at an early age he had an uncanny gift. He could amaze family and friends with his ability to sing and do impressions of nearly every celebrity. After graduating from high school Chad got a job at a local recording studio on Music Row where he learned to record and produce music. This led to writing and recording his own songs and soon he was signed to his first publishing deal with Co-Heart Music. While continuing to hone his craft he met a former Elvis impersonator who told him he looked like a new country artist named Tim McGraw. Chad was then hired to perform as McGraw at several casinos around the country. Fifteen years later Chad Collins is still performing as Tim McGraw as well as Elvis Presley and is also exploring the possibilities performing as other characters.

Sherry Gordon (as Dolly Parton) is a world traveler and performer fulfilling a dream “to dazzle audiences with music from Rock & Roll to Country.” Her first dance with the stage was at age four. Sherry was a singer and ventriloquist warming the heart of audiences in convalescent homes and for local benefits in Phoenix, Arizona before hitting the Las Vegas scene. Once in Las Vegas, Sherry performed as back-up singer for many popular groups along the strip before forming her own Las Vegas Show Band “In the Mood.” She recalls that during the twelve years she performed with the group, audiences constantly commented on her resemblance to Dolly Parton and always requested the country star’s songs. Since Sherry is an avid fan, she had no trouble tossing in some of her favorite “Dolly” tunes. Audience response was so terrific; it gave Sherry the little nudge she needed to work on a full-blown impression. Now that Sherry dazzles Legends in Concert audiences with her tremendous tribute to Dolly Parton, her dream has truly become a reality.

Corrie Sachs (as Reba McEntire) has enjoyed a prolific career spanning stage, television and radio. She has performed as a headliner in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and on national tours. Corrie has performed for the USO throughout the world and has opened for such stars as Bob Hope, Bob Newhart, Debbie Reynolds and Allen & Rossi. As a native of Las Vegas, Corrie was honored as “Las Vegas Singer of the Year” in 2004, 2006 and 2010. Corrie has been paying tribute to Reba McEntire for the past 25 years and has even been offered to tour with Reba herself. In 2001, Corrie was awarded “Tribute Artist of the Year” from the Las Vegas Review Journal. Corrie appears weekly as co-host of the highly syndicated Dennis Bono Radio Show. This show is performed live and is now in its 18th year at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Stacey Whitton Summers (as Shania Twain) Having worked since 1994 as a professional tribute artist, Stacey is one of Legends’ impeccable veterans. Where it all begins for Stacey, is at age five, harmonizing with her mother’s tunes. Throughout her adolescence Stacey developed her musical passions by ceaselessly playing classical saxophone, and continued her performance training as a major in theater and opera. With years of experience, Stacey has traveled around the world with her hand-made costumes and beautiful performances. She has played for U.S. troops, shared the stage with Dolly Parton, and earned a place as a finalist on ABC’s T.V. show “The Next Big Thing.” Aside from gracing the Legends audience with her renditions of Marilyn Monroe, Stacey also performs as Madonna, Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, and Martina McBride. She even had the opportunity to perform as Shania Twain, for Shania Twain!

Doug Brewin and Larry Turner (as Brooks & Dunn 12/31 – 2/3) are seasoned performers with Legends in Concert. Doug has been performing a tribute to Alan Jackson for Legends in Concert since 2004 and Larry, as George Strait, since 2008. The two met while performing their respective tribute acts at Legends in Branson and a friendship was formed. During one of their gigs together they were discussing Country superstars and found they both had a great respect for the singing duo of Brooks & Dunn. They quickly got together and started the process of forming a tribute act to the duo. Larry performs as Kix Brooks and Doug performs as Ronny Dunn. Doug and Larry feel it’s an honor to pay tribute to the duo who has won the prestigious CMA “Duo of The Year” 14 times. Brooks & Dunn have had 21 hits and 39 hits in the top ten. They have outsold every duo in musical history including Simon & Garfunkel.

The Stinson Brotherz (as Brooks & Dunn 2/6 – 2/17) or Ricky-Bobby as many call them, are a former Capitol Records Hollywood act. They have performed on the Sunset Strip, on cruise ships, multiple Las Vegas showrooms, and throughout North America. Robin Leach once said, “The Stinson Brotherz Show is a fun, fun night out.” The brothers are known for getting the audience involved and having a great time. They also pay homage to some of their favorite artists such as Brooks & Dunn and Jimmy Buffett, with award-winning tributes. In addition to performing, Bob Stinson writes for Wild West and True West magazines, and Rick is a 100 ton boat captain. They don’t just sing it, they live it.
