The Fireside auditions and hires professional singers, dancers and actors from all over the United States. Many come with Broadway and National Tour experience. All of them come with great talent and a passion for their craft.

Steven Lane (Henry Higgins) After being away for over a decade, Steven is overjoyed to come back to The Fireside; MY FAIR LADY is his 20th production here! Laura Cable (Eliza Doolittle) returns to the Fireside family after playing Ursula in THE LITTLE MERMAID last summer. National Tours: CATS and DAMN YANKEES. Favorite Regional: THE 39 STEPS, MARY POPPINS, VICTOR/VICTORIA. Thank you, Ed, for trusting me with this iconic role. Love to Mark and the Cables, and endless praise to God! Alan Ball (Alfred P. Doolittle) is pleased to return to The Fireside, having previously played Bill, the Australian (possible) dad, in MAMMA MIA! Based in Chicago, his 35 years as an actor and singer (and occasional fine art photographer) have taken him to all 50 United States and more than 30 countries around the world. Alan is an Artistic Associate of the Michigan Shakespeare Festival and a proud 27-year member of Actors’ Equity.

Michael Haws (Colonel Hugh Pickering) Michael’s recent favorite roles here: Grimsby in THE LITTLE MERMAID; Pulitzer in NEWSIES; Maurice in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; Monsignor O’Hara in SISTER ACT; Clarence in A WONDERFUL LIFE; Jim in ALL SHOOK UP; Doc in WEST SIDE STORY; Thenardier in LES MISERABLES; THE WIZARD OF OZ. Glory Kissel (Mrs. Higgins) is thrilled to be back at the wonderful Fireside. As a Chicago actress, she has appeared at The Paramount (GREASE, ANNIE, MARY POPPINS), at The Marriott (MY FAIR LADY), and at Drury Lane (OLIVER!). She has also performed at Ravinia, The Chicago Theater, Goodman, and other Chicago area theaters. She is best known at The Fireside for DRIVING MISS DAISY and her last appearance here as the oldest nun in the world in SISTER ACT! My thanks to Ed, MJ, and the best tech staff anywhere.

Mary Jane Guymon (Mrs. Pearce) is delighted to be returning to The Fireside where she was last seen in PETER PAN (Mrs. Darling) and FOOTLOOSE (Vi Moore).
